Hi! That’s me.

I’m a strange unicorn that loves being a creative AND I love the admin side of running a wedding business too.

I also love to help people solve their problems and I believe there’s nothing more satisfying than checking things off a to-do list. Yup – I’m a weirdo. A helpful weirdo.

As 2020 did it’s thang, I could see my wedding supplier peers talk about working on their business during the downtime, finally ‘catching up’ while they could. However, a lot of them felt stuck or didn’t know where to start. I would offer advice and help where I could but I found myself doing this more and more as the year went on.

I began to wonder if there was a way I could literally help other small business owners to see through the fog, get their businesses back on track and become the badass bosses I knew they could be.

And so WIVA was born. To help you kick ass.

why the
wedding
industry?

You creatives, you’re visual geniuses – but y’all need HELP.

Being a wedding photographer myself I know just how many hats we small business owners need to wear – too many!

Something’s gotta give and it’s usually the behind the scenes stuff that you think you can ignore. You know it’s holding your business back from becoming the best it can be though!

I’ve been a wedding photographer in Scotland since 2012. I’ve worked with so many lovely wedding suppliers over the years and some of my closest friends are in the industry too. Which means I’ve heard about ALL the things you hate to do. And most of the time, I have a solution that will work for you. Or you can just let me do it for you – I’m handy like that.

Due to wearing the aforementioned multiple hats, I’ve managed to turn my hand to a multitude of skills. I love to learn and I haven’t stopped since 2012 – soaking up info like a sponge. I’m now offering that knowledge and experience out to other wedding suppliers to save you the hassle of having to learn it from scratch, as I did.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to the questions we receive the most about our services.
If we missed anything, please do not hesitate to contact us. We’ll be happy to help

It’s the question I get asked the most!

Imagine you had a real life assistant to do all your admin work and pesky chores. Oh the tasks you could get them to do. Now imagine they’re at the other end of a computer. That’s what a virtual assistant does. Any online based task – we’re on it. And let’s face it – most tasks are digital these days!

I’m the helping hand you’ve always known that you needed. Let me lighten your load and tick off your to-do list by taking care of your online admin.

Website updates, done.

Instagram scheduling, smashed it.

Researching products for you to offer then creating you a snazzy pricelist to give to clients, completed it mate.

My clients trust me with their login details for online services such as their client management systems, their websites and their social media. This way I can get tasks done quickly without having to ask you to lift a finger!

We start with a video chat to go through what I can help you with and I take notes and ask any questions.

I then get all the info I need from you like login details etc. And from then on I’m pretty much working away. I’d then come back to you with a first draft for feedback.

I’m speedier than you think at picking up what you mean and how you’d do it 😉

I do currently have a wait list of around one month.

I have long-term clients that  renew their hours each month. Other clients come to me for one off projects so my availability can vary from month-to-month.

Simply contact me and we’ll get the ball rolling!
